Watching this fight again much later i realized something.Penn's only good point in the fight was after the eye poke.He followed that up with that nose shot,GSP was still wincing for about 30 secs ,so quite a lame way to get an advantage.No matter GSP landed about 15 legs kicks to Penn's none,Penn did not win that round at all.
Then all the controversy over grease gate,i think it is only fair to ask Penn how he could poke GSP in the eye?It is 100% impossible to poke in the eye unless you open up your fist ,witch Bj did.All the fighters know you are not suppose to open up your fist,no question he did it on purpose.
That fight was GSP all three rounds ,that CHEAT poke in the eye and the 30 secs that followed did not earn a round,no way in hell.GSP owned the kicks and owned EVERY clinch,all BJ did the whole fight was hop around on his one leg.

BJ opened his glove on purpose then knowing that he connected to the eye threw more punched biggest flurry of fight hoping to damage GSP while he couldn't see. No way it wasn't intentional BJ is a crook and a cheat. thats alll there is to say

I agree with you on BJ poking GSP and that gave him an advantage and that's why BJ was able to land some jabs. But I do not think BJ did that on purpose. As far as grease gate; that whole thing is complete B.S. and it really make BJ look like a soar loser.

Oh yes BJ did it on purpose,you have to open the fist to do it and why on earth would you punch with an open hand?it is the same as the kicks in the groin,they are BS and the fighters are just showing no concern for the rules or the other fighter.
The thing about the BJ poke in the eye is that after his loss the second time he is so avid about the fighters protection,yet mentions NOTHING about the poke in the eye .That injury alone can cause a serious disadvantage to the fighter,so BJ was all talking BS ,he couldn,t care less about fighters safety.

BJ is a pro fighter with a wealth of experiece and his boxing skills are undeniable. He couldnt have poked GSP in the eye by accident, nor any better than he did. It was perfect with the thumb out sliding across his eye when he could easily have punched him instead.

Ameriicans in the crowd, have no respect or class. I admire GSP's humilty and respect.

GSP is does not poses humility and submissiveness. That is an act of a coward. GSP is a proud champion with the intelligence to win.

no doubt GSP kicks ass, i hate how canadians say like o haha look at our fighter much better than americans, all my friends and me are gsp fans and we are americans, just cus we live in different countries doesn't mean we cant like gsp. He is my favoritefighter of all time. i also think hes an inspiration to all fighters to keep ur head in the game and show respect rather than talkin shit
